Sorry that the comic was late this week. I was out partying over the weekend, and got home late, so it was either going to be a really crappy comic, or a late but ok one.

John's Uplink

The Majority of my minds are outside my head.

The same applies to you, really.

Everyone I know carries a piece of me inside their own mind. They construct a model of me from their observations of me, from how they see me act and react. They learn how I think and what I do as they interact with me. Essentially, they develop a little model of me inside their own head. They're certainly not perfect simulacra, but they have something to do with me.

This is the model you use when you ask yourself "What would John think of this?", or imagine my presence, or wonder what I'm doing.

All of you are carrying me inside your head, and everyone else you know.

And I have a piece of you inside my mind.
